Some essays were written when he was 14 years old and they are light years ahead of most newspaper articles today. A very pro-humanity soul we lost.

My notes

The Guardian’s “Top five regrets of the dying” I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

I ignore dress codes whenever possible because the only people who really care if you are conforming to the dress code are the worst possible people (the same people who expect hand-written thank-you notes). Most people settle for a career rather than chasing their passion and end up living lives of quiet desperation (not exactly my line). Promise yourself (and me) that you won’t let this happen to you.
